PTO Funded Programs & Special Events
PTO helps fund and recruit volunteers for important programs that run all year long.
School Events
PTO Funds free school events throughout the year that bring fun enrichment opportunities and exposure to our school community!

Art Literature
Art Lit is a volunteer led art lesson that takes place six times during the school year. There is a short training for volunteers prior to the classroom presentations. Volunteer Leads schedule Art Lit times with their specific classroom teacher as well as reserves the “art cart” that contains all necessary supplies. Art Lit Volunteers help with the art lesson. Volunteers arrive 15 minutes prior to art class and help students with their projects.
On the Move
Oak Hills Kids love On the Move! This fall/ spring program lets kids earn prizes for running laps on designated days during their lunch recess. At the end of the year, the top runners get special prizes! Volunteers are needed to count laps and cheer students on for every shift!

Popcorn Fridays
Our volunteers love to help make and deliver popcorn to every student on special days throughout the year. That's a lot of popcorn!
Teacher Appreciation Through out the Year
Not only does the PTO fund stipends for every teacher to purchase necessary classroom supplies, but we also know how to show our teachers how much we appreciate them—with staffroom restocks, conference dinners, flowers, and goodies throughout the year!

Field Trips
PTO reduces out of pocket cost to parents by offsetting cost for buses and admission of field trips for every grade.
