Turkey Trot
The Turkey Trot is an annual community philanthropic event held on Thanksgiving morning rain or shine.
Participants are asked to donate $2 and 2 cans of food to enter the race and they are automatically entered in the raffle held immediately following the races. The donations raise money and food for the Beaverton Elks food basket drive and the Beaverton School District Clothes Closet.
There are activities for the whole family.
The Kids Run is 1/2 mile, or two laps around the track at the back of the school.
The Run/Walk is 2 miles, or one time around the “Perimeter Loop” in the neighborhood, beginning and ending at the school bus entrance on Norwich Street.
The Run is 5 miles, or about 2 1/2 times around the “Loop,” also beginning and ending at the school bus entrance on Norwich Street.
